The 2012 Southern CounterAct User Meeting took place on the 20th March at the Old Court Hotel near Ross-on-Wye in Herefordshire.
In the first session of the day, users were taken through the developments in CounterAct that have been released in the last 12 months. (All users receive system updates as part of their support contract.) After coffee, Glynn Barrington from Pochins talked about the controls he uses in CounterAct to carry out his branch audits on a weekly, monthly and annual basis.
Denise then demonstrated two new features that will be included in the next CounterAct release – a new CRM facility and also enhanced sales analysis.
Finally, Mick talked about the various system options that can be set around credit limits, units of price, margin checking and exception reporting and how they can be configured depending how you want your system to functions.
The event was very well attended with lots of ideas and interaction from users. The new system features were very well received. We will hold a northern meeting in the autumn.
