Border Merchant Systems would like to welcome Manningham Concrete Ltd as its latest CounterAct customer.
With its HQ in Bradford, Manningham are truly a one stop shop for building supplies, hardware, timber and tools. They also have a dedicated kitchen and bathroom showroom as well as a separate doors showroom. The company has four branches in and around Bradford each with its own speciality.
Manningham had been using bespoke system for a number of years and wanted to look at the options available before paying out for further development work. One of the main issues they had was that branches were not linked together making it difficult to give customers consistent prices when they visited other sites.
The management team at Manningham initially researched a number of potential alternative system suppliers; they also took advice from fellow buying society member as to what computer systems they would recommend. They then arranged introductory demos with a number of potential suppliers before having in depth demo's following a specific agenda for each of the short listed suppliers. Finally, they visited a user who was already using the system to see it in action live.
After going through this process they chose CounterAct.
Manningham have just had a new CounterAct server installed with their converted data pre-loaded. They are about to begin their on-site training programme moving towards a go live date towards the end of the year.
