In the latest CounterAct upgrade, Border has added new central buying facilities to allow companies with multiple branches to more easily order stock centrally and distribute around the various branches.
Other highlights in this release include the ability to send marketing documents via email with invoice and statement runs and better customer extract information for those that want to use the on-line marketing tool Mail Chimp.
Through its parent company, Shuttleworth Business Systems, Border can now both supply and support new CounterAct servers as well as the rest of a customer's IT infrastructure.
This includes windows servers, PCs, peripherals, networking, backup and disaster recovery solutions, broadband and VPN as well as cloud storage and windows server hosting.

Simmons is a family owned business that provides a wide and extensive range of landscaping and building materials to both the trade and public. The business operates from a large site on the Tollgate Industrial Park in Stafford just off junction 14 of the M6.

Other highlights in this release include a create new account 'on the fly' option for point of sale, a new authority to give different levels of access to account customer details at point of sale – one level being more sales based while the other includes detailed account information. Also included is a new facility to load sales information from eBay.
