In the latest CounterAct upgrade, Border has added a new potential sales report, setup better controls for purchasing, enhanced CRM facilities and also given users more options to highlight special order products in quotations – particularly useful for those that wish to retain the option of charging a restocking fee for returned specials.
Due to the acquisition of Border by Shuttleworth Business Systems we thought rather than hold the scheduled Northern User Meeting in November it would be a better idea to hold a one off Special User Meeting instead and make it available for all users to attend.
Due to the high level of interest there will be two meetings - in the afternoon of the 13th and the morning of the 14th November 2013. Both meetings will be held at Shuttleworth Business Systems HQ in Kettering, Northamptonshire.
Design your own loyalty cards or have them pre-printed
The demo' showed how easy it is for users to either have loyalty cards pre-printed or to print their own with a dedicated card printer.
The scheme enables cards to be printed with bar codes that are scanned at the counter to identify the loyalty card holder on CounterAct. The customers' loyalty card account holds all their purchase history and can easily have special 'loyalty card terms' applied against it.
