We have some added some enhancements to how CounterAct deals with special products.
On a supplier account you can now specify a default product group which is used for new special products from that supplier.
Coming soon in CounterAct release 2-8B, we will add another feature which will allow you to specify the default margin you should be making on new special products from that supplier. For example, you specify 30% and CounterAct automatically will put M30 into the special selling field in sales and orders.
